There are no CTrains running along a stretch of the Blue Line in northeast Calgary after a crash involving a cube van that flipped over onto the tracks.
Emergency crews were called to Metis Trail NE near McKnight Boulevard around 1:25 p.m. for reports of a single-vehicle collision.
A Calgary police spokesperson tells CityNews a vehicle was travelling on Metis Trail north of McKnight when it crashed and came to a rest on the CTrain tracks.
Images from the scene show a cube van flipped over blocking part of the train tracks.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Calgary Transit says there is no CTrain service between McKnight and Whitehorn stations. Shuttle buses are running between the two station in place of trains.
