Calgary fire crews extinguish SW house fire

Crews with the Calgary Fire Department extinguished a blaze inside a home in the city’s southwest early Saturday.
Bruce Barrn with the CFD says a call came in after 8:30 a.m. for a house fire at the 800 block of 67 Avenue SW.
Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from inside a single-family home.
After getting inside and quickly dispatching the blaze, firefighters found nobody inside.
The cause is under investigation as crews remain on scene checking for hotspots.
