Calgary police are looking to the public to help aid their investigation into a November hit-and-run.

    By CityNews Staff

Calgary police need help finding a hit-and-run suspect who sent another driver flying into a pole and to the hospital in November.

It happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 15, 2024, when a black Mazda CX5 was driving westbound on Memorial Drive NE between Deerfoot Trail and St. George Drive in the Bridgeland-Riverside area.

Then an unknown red vehicle struck the Mazda, allegedly forcing it off Memorial and into a pole.

Police say the red vehicle fled the scene, and the driver of the Mazda was rushed to hospital in serious condition.

Investigators ask anyone who witnessed the incident to call them at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
