The Calgary Flames will have a new face in their lineup on Monday night.

Rory Kerins is set to make his NHL debut against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The 22-year-old Caledon, Ont., native was called up from the Flames’ AHL affiliate, the Calgary Wranglers, on Friday.

Drafted in the sixth round of the 2020 draft, Kerins was in the midst of a breakout season in the AHL, leading the league with 21 goals and sitting second in points with 34 in 34 games.

Kerins will play alongside Yegor Sharangovich and Jakob Pelletier, based on the lines from Monday morning’s skate.

In other lineup news, forward Andrei Kuzmenko is set to be a healthy scratch again, along with defencemen Tyson Barrie and Daniil Miromanov. Rookie goaltender Dustin Wolf is set to make his fourth straight start.

The Flames (20-14-7) enter the matchup aiming for a three-game win streak, while the Blackhawks (14-27-2) look to snap their two-game losing streak.
