Stoney Trail/Country Hills Blvd reopens in NW Calgary after police incident

A stretch of Stoney Trail in northwest Calgary that was shut down for several hours has reopened following a police incident.

Calgary police shut down Stoney Trail in both directions at Country Hills Boulevard NW before 2:30 p.m. Country Hills was also closed in both directions at the interchange.

The roads reopened just after 4:30 p.m.

The closure caused major delays for drivers on Stoney Trail throughout the afternoon.
