Mounties northeast of Calgary say they’ve identified a suspect who allegedly tried to cash a cheque with fake identification late last year.
The identification comes after an appeal to the public.
RCMP say they began investigating after a woman went into an ATB bank branch in the town of Three Hills and tried to deposit a cheque.
It is alleged the woman gave the teller a fake driver’s license that had an account holders name. The teller determined the license was fake and did not allow the cheque to be cashed.
