Suspect being questioned in death of man found in SE Calgary condo

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating after a person was found dead in a southeast home early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a man in medical distress after what’s being described as an altercation at a condo building on Legacy Boulevard SE around 2:15 a.m.

When they arrived, the man was dead.

Police say one person was taken into custody at the scene for questioning.

They also believe the incident was targeted and there is no risk to the public.

Further information is expected following the completion of an autopsy, which is scheduled for Wednesday.

At this time, police have classified the death as suspicious.
