Calgary police were on scene of what was first thought to be a road rage incident Wednesday morning.
Police say the incident, which happened around 9:15 a.m., involved a vehicle and a Calgary Transit bus.
It happened at Fairmount Drive SE and Fyffe Road SE.
Calgary police tell 660 NewsRadio a vehicle was parked in a bus zone dropping off their child for school, and was blocked by the transit bus.
It’s believed the bus driver got out, and was hit by the driver who was trying to pull out of the spot, and didn’t notice.
Police don’t think the driver intended to hit the bus operator, therefore no charges will be laid.
Both drivers remained on scene and the transit driver was taken to hospital with a minor lower body injury.
This is a developing story.
