Calgary police are looking for a pair of suspects after two men were found with stab wounds on 17 Avenue in the city’s southwest Saturday.
The victims were found suffering from “what appeared to be stab wounds” at around 2 a.m., with police adding they were taken to hospital in stable condition.
Officers believe the two men were walking when they started shouting at people in a nearby car, which escalated to an alleged assault and stabbing of the victims.
Investigators then say the suspects fled in a newer, dark-coloured Infiniti sedan.
Police describe both suspects as 25-35 years old, about 6′ tall, with a medium build.
The difference is the first has long black hair in dreadlocks and was wearing a black fur-lined jacket at the time, while the second is bald and was wearing a black jacket.
Police ask anyone who knows the suspects, witnessed the incident, has dashcam footage, or recognizes the vehicle, to call them at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
