Calgary police are investigating a shooting in the northwest Wednesday morning.

Investigators say a woman was left with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the lower body.

It happened on Memorial Drive NW.

Police say responding units found and arrested two men believed to be connected to the incident a short time later.

At this time, investigators believe the shooting was targeted.

Officers are expected to be at the scene for several hours to investigate.
