    Calgary police are investigating a hit-and-run collision that sent one person to hospital Tuesday afternoon.

    Police are investigating after a multi-vehicle crash in northeast Calgary on Tuesday afternoon where one of the drivers involved allegedly fled.

    Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Barlow Trail NE and 23 Avenue NE around 1:05 p.m. for reports of a hit-and-run collision.

    Calgary police say four vehicles were involved in a crash. The driver of one of the vehicles ran away after the collision.

    One person was assessed at the scene for minor injuries.

    The investigation is ongoing.
