The Calgary Stampede Grandstand show has a new sponsor and headliner this year.
The festival announced Wednesday Freedom Mobile is now the presenting sponsor of the show, which runs all 10 nights of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
Alberta’s own Carolyn Dawn Johnson will headline the show.
Johnson has won 17 Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMAs).
Freedom Mobile president and CEO, Pierre Karl Péladeau, says the company is excited to be part of the action.
“The Grandstand Show is an iconic celebration that brings communities together through unforgettable entertainment,” he said. “We share the Stampede’s vision of delivering exceptional experiences, and through this partnership, we are demonstrating our commitment to being an active contributor to the vibrant community life where our customers live, work and play.”
Other featured acts include freestyle motocross, a balance bottle act, and pyrotechnic spectacles.
Johnson says the Stampede is an important part of Alberta’s roots.
“Returning home to perform on the iconic Grandstand Stage is a dream come true,” she said.
The Young Canadians musical group will also be part of the show.
Closing out each night will be a new drone show and the signature Stampede fireworks finale.
Tickets for the Evening Show, which include the Rangeland Derby Chuckwagon Races, the Relay Races, and the 2025 Grandstand Show, are available now.
Admission to Stampede Park is included with every evening show ticket.
The 2025 Stampede runs from July 4 to 13.
