The Betty Mitchell Awards are back and this time, you can be part of the jury. Vote in the Behind the Curtain People’s Pick and enter to win a pair of tickets to Calgary’s biggest theatre night.

Calgary’s top theatre talent is about to be celebrated on stage at the 2025 Betty Mitchell Awards, happening June 23.

And this year, Behind the Curtain wants to hear from the most important critics of all — you.

Whether you saw it all or only a few, tell us which play deserves the ‘people’s pick!’

We’re launching the People’s Pick Poll: an informal fan-voted award recognizing one unforgettable Calgary theatre show from the 2024–25 season.

You can vote for your favourite show anytime between June 10 and June 22.

Behind the Curtain has also partnered with the Betty Mitchell Awards to raffle off a pair of Bettys tickets.

One lucky winner will be contacted on June 21 to receive two free tickets to the Bettys at the Jubilee.
