Police investigate multi-vehicle crash on Deerfoot Trail SE

Calgary police are investigating a serious multi-vehicle collision that occurred early Friday morning in the city’s southeast.

Calgary police are on scene in the southeast Friday morning investigating a multi-vehicle crash.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of northbound Deerfoot Trail and 17 Avenue SE.

Three vehicles crashed into each other in the area just south of 17 Avenue SE, police say.

According to investigators, one vehicle is on its roof after rolling over.

Calgary Fire and EMS are on scene assessing the occupants of all the vehicles.

No word yet on any injuries.
