Surveillance video captures van hitting teen in Airdrie crosswalk, RCMP looking for suspect

Airdrie RCMP are looking for a man driving a van who hit a teen girl in a marked crosswalk last week and drove away.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. last Thursday, police say.
Video surveillance from the area captured the incident at Windhaven Gate and Windstone Road in Airdrie, where a 17-year-old girl was crossing the street before being hit by a white Dodge Caravan.

The girl is seen getting up on her own and limping away.
The male driver got out of his vehicle and appeared to be upset with the pedestrian, throwing his hands in the air.
He is captured on video walking back to his van and driving away, eastbound toward 8 Street.
RCMP say the teen was left with minor injuries.
