1 arrested after robbing downtown Calgary convenience store at knifepoint

Calgary Police responded to a robbery at a Southwest convenience store on Wednesday morning.

One person was arrested after robbing a convenience store at knife point in Calgary’s southwest Wednesday morning.

Calgary police say the incident happened at 8:40 a.m. near 4 Street and 14 Avenue SW.

No injuries were reported.

The man was taken into custody shortly after the incident.

Charges against him are pending.
