Suspects connected to ‘violent’ home invasion in Chestermere sought: RCMP

Chestermere RCMP officers seek public assistance in their investigation of a “violent home invasion” that happened east of Calgary on Monday.

Mounties say they responded to a home invasion report in the neighbourhood of Lakeview Landing at around 5:40 a.m. on Dec. 22.

Two unknown suspects reportedly entered the home and assaulted one of the homeowners, fleeing the scene after. Police say the victim was injured and taken to the hospital, but is now recovering.

Investigators describe the suspects as men wearing dark clothing and masks, who fled in a silver Ford F150 from the mid 2000s.

They are seeking information about the suspects matching the description above, the vehicle in Chestermere or the surrounding area, around the time of the incident.

Additionally, Mounties are asking residents to review any available dash-cam or security camera footage they may have.
