Calgary police search for 70-year-old woman missing from Acadia

Calgary police are looking for a 70-year-old woman reported missing from the city’s southeast on Sunday.

Officers say Libby has difficulty walking and was last seen in the Acadia area on Attica Drive SE at around 2:40 p.m. Sunday

The missing 70-year-old woman is described as being 5’6″ tall, with brown eyes and grey hair.

Police say she was last seen wearing a black jacket with a fur hood, blue jeans, and grey/white boots.

Anyone with information about Libby’s whereabouts is asked to call Calgary police at 403-266-1234 with case number CA26058620|5075, or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The Calgary Police Service no longer shares the last names of people reported missing or shares details on the status of individuals upon being found. The service said this change was brought forward by its missing persons team after feedback from families and those who have been found safe.
