By CityNews Staff

A lockdown of Sherwood School in southeast Calgary has been lifted after a student made threats to harm students and staff on Monday, police say.

Officers say they were called to the school just before 11:30 a.m., leading to a lockdown of the middle school.

Then, police on scene located the offender and cleared the school property.

No weapon was seen or located, and there is no active risk to students, staff or the public.
