Calgary police investigate attack at NE Genesis Centre

Calgary police are investigating an attack involving bear spray and a bladed weapon at a sports complex in the northeast on Monday.

They tell CityNews that several youth were involved in the reported attack that happened at the Genesis Centre at around 10:40 a.m.

One person received a minor wound to the hand, but officers say it’s not clear if it was a machete or another bladed weapon.

An investigation remains ongoing.
