Man in life-threatening condition after shooting in SE Calgary

Police responded to reports of a shooting in a residence in the 100 block of Ellisborough Park SE shortly before 5:00AM. Rayn Rashid is on scene with the details of the shooting, sending one man to hospital in life-threatening condition.

One man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot in Calgary’s southeast early Friday morning.

Police say it happened around 4:45 a.m. near 100 Ellisborough Park SE in the neighbourhood of Red Carpet.

The shooting is believed to be targeted and there is no risk to the public.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
