A year ago, the Northern Super League was an idea coming to life.

Now, the sophomore season is here, built on lessons learned and momentum earned, including reaching the world’s third-largest attendance in the inaugural campaign of a domestic women’s soccer league.

With the Calgary Wild back on the pitch this weekend, league founder and Chief Growth Officer Diana Matheson sat down with 660’s Sandra Prusina to discuss the plethora of talent across the country, the importance of navigating unexpected obstacles, adapting to FIFA international windows, and what our city brings to the market.
