Stolen‑goods investigation leads police to drugs, weapons, multiple arrests

Calgary police say four people are facing charges in an online stolen property investigation.

A months‑long investigation into suspicious online sales has resulted in charges against four people and the recovery of stolen property, drugs, and a gun.

Calgary police say the investigation started in April 2026, when officers noticed items on Facebook Marketplace they believed were tied to a recent break‑and‑enter.

Investigators were eventually led to a home in the northeast community of Martindale, which was suspected of being used to sell stolen goods.

Officers searched the home on April 15 and seized several stolen items, a pistol‑grip shotgun, 143 grams of fentanyl, 3.6 grams of methamphetamine, 3.4 grams of psilocybin, and equipment consistent with drug trafficking.

Four people, two women aged 40 and 28, and two 39-year-old men, are now facing a range of charges.

Two of them are charged with possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking, while another was arrested on 11 outstanding warrants and charged with breaching release conditions. The fourth individual was taken into custody on 12 outstanding warrants.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected for two more individuals. Anyone with information is asked to call Calgary police at 403‑266‑1234 or reach out anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
