Police searching for suspect after stabbing in SW Calgary

Calgary police say a man in his 50s is in stable condition after a stabbing in city's southwest, early Tuesday morning. One person was taken into custody, but has since been released.

Calgary police are still looking for a suspect after a stabbing in the city’s southwest that sent one person to hospital on Tuesday.

Officers responded before 10 a.m. to a home on Glacier Drive SW in the community of Glamorgan for reports of a stabbing.

A man in his 50s was rushed to hospital in serious condition. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.

Police initially took one suspect into custody, but that person has since been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
