Suspect description released of man who reportedly exposed himself to students outside school

Calgary police are continuing their efforts to identify a man accused of exposing himself to students at an elementary school last week.

Police continue to investigate after a man allegedly exposed himself to students at a southwest Calgary school last week.

Officers were called to Braeside School on 107 Avenue SW around 10 a.m. on June 1 for reports that a man exposed himself to a group of students outside the school.

The students told school staff who then called police. One student also reported that the man grabbed their arm, though it’s not clear whether he was trying to hurt them.

The man ran off before officers arrived.

Investigators are now asking for the public’s help after speaking with several witnesses.

The suspect is described as a man in his late 20s to early 30s with short dark hair. He was wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up, black pants, dark shoes, and carrying a light‑coloured backpack with pockets.

Police are asking anyone who saw what happened or has doorbell camera footage from the area to call 403‑266‑1234 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
