Reserved parking off to a rough start

Things are not going as smoothly as Calgary Transit had hoped for the new reserved parking system.
Drivers were told that starting Friday they would be able to pay $70.00 either online or at one of the Calgary Transit service centres and ensure themselves a spot.
That was not the case Friday morning when hundreds of Calgarians received an error while trying to reserve a spot online.
Theresa Schroder with Calgary Transit tells 660News, there is a glitch in their system that has users being redirected when it comes time to make a payment.
She says people are still able to pay at one of the Calgary Transit service centres or at the Park and Ride website.
It’s not known how long it will take to fix the problem and she apologizes for any inconvenience.
