Three teen girls are facing charges following a case of what is being called “extreme bullying” at a Chestermere school.
Two 14-year-olds and one 15-year-old have been charged with causing a disturbance after a lunch hour fight on Monday.
There have been allegations that the incident began as bullying at St. Gabriel the Archangel school, but police aren’t sure just yet.
Corporal Dave Friend tells 660News investigators are looking over some evidence.
“Some people recorded it on their cell phones and were kind enough to give us their phones so that we can see the video and that’s being reviewed and compared with the statements that we obtained from several people that were there and when we are done doing that there is a possibility of further charges,” said Friend
The school is conducting its own investigation although the fight did happen off school property.
Two girls suffered minor injuries in the fight.
