Calgary police seek alleged home invaders

Calgary police are looking for a man and woman in an alleged home invasion and assault in northeast Calgary on Saturday.

At around 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 21, three people allegedly broke into a home in Templeview Way and assaulted a man inside a garage.

Officers say the victim ran into a nearby home for help and to call police.

As a result, investigators have placed warrants on two people, 47-year-old Dean Patrick Gallant and 35-year-old Tinesha Lee Redwood, for breaking and entering, assault, robbery with a firearm, use of a firearm to commit an indictable offence, and unlawful confinement.

Gallant has an extra charge for assault with a weapon, while Redwood faces an extra charge for failing to comply with a release order.

Police describe Gallant as being 5’9″ tall, 280 pounds, with a heavy build, short brown hair, hazel eyes, and a beard. He has numerous tattoos, including on his arms and neck.

Redwood is 5’6″ tall, 160 pounds, with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes. She has a tattoo that is visible on the back of her neck.
