RCMP look to identify man who allegedly sexually assaulted minor at rodeo after-party

The RCMP in Didsbury are looking for a man suspected of sexually assaulting a minor at a rodeo after-party last July.
Police say on July 20, 2023, Didsbury RCMP received a report of a sexual assault involving a minor that happened on July 19, 2023 at a cabaret following the Dog Pound Rodeo.
Investigators say this incident happened on or within walking distance of the Dog Pound Rodeo grounds.
The suspect is believed to have gone by the name Carter, according to police.
He’s described as around six feet tall and slightly obese with a fair complexion and longer, dirty blonde hair, possibly in a mullet.
Police say he was wearing a light coloured button up shirt, blue jeans, and boots.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Didsbury RCMP at 403-335-3382 or tip anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
Members of the public are asked not to approach the man.
