Most customers have been reconnected to power following an unplanned outage in south Calgary Friday which, at its peak, affected around 3,800 customers.
According to Enmax, the first of many outages began around 7:30 a.m. in Queensland and was caused by wildlife interference.
Two more outages started at 8:30 a.m. in Sundance, Midnapore, and Fish Creek Park.
Outages were also been reported in Acadia and Pine Creek.
The cause of those outages is still under investigation though power had been restored to most impacted areas by 10 a.m.
At that time, around 750 customers were still impacted.
In a post to social media, Enmax says it is working to restore power to the remaining areas as soon as possible
