Man in custody after crash involving stolen vehicle in NE Calgary

One person is in custody after a collision involving a stolen vehicle in northeast Calgary on Tuesday.

One person is in custody after a collision involving a stolen vehicle in northeast Calgary on Tuesday afternoon.

Calgary police say they received reports in the early afternoon of a stolen vehicle that was driving between CPS and RCMP jurisdiction.

The stolen vehicle crashed into another vehicle near Country Hills Boulevard NE and Skyview Parkway NE around 1:50 p.m., according to police.

The driver suffered minor injuries.

One man was taken into custody.

Southbound Skyview Parkway NE is closed between Country Hills and Cityscape Drive NE for the investigation.
