1 to hospital, 1 arrested after assault near SW Calgary CTrain station

One person is in hospital and another had been arrested, following an assault near the Chinook CTrain Station in Calgary Monday morning.

One person is in hospital and another has been arrested after an assault near the Chinook CTrain Station Monday morning.

Calgary police say it happened around 8:10 a.m. on 2 Street SW and 61 Avenue SW.

Officers responded to reports of an assault in the area and found one person injured.

They were taken to hospital in stable condition, police say.

One person has been taken into custody.

An investigation into the incident continues.
