Health woes not over for Cochrane boy in dog attack

The painful ordeal isn’t over for a 7-year-old Cochrane boy attacked by a dog who ripped up his face.

Tyler LeClaire underwent a skin graft after his sister’s boyfriend’s pit bull attacked him on January 12th.

The first graft failed to take.

The boy’s father says he’s been very brave, soldiering through the pain but it’s going to take a lot more trips to the hospital before it’s over.

The Calgary Sun reports a fundraiser will be held later this month to pay for Tyler’s medical bills, at Ducks on the Roof sports bar and grill in Cochrane.
