One person was injured after a collision between a Calgary transit bus and a sanding truck.

One person was hurt in a collision between a Calgary Transit bus and a sanding truck in the city’s southeast Monday morning.

Calgary police say it happened shortly before 10 a.m. in the Bonavista Downs neighbourhood.

The individual, who was a passenger on the bus, was treated for minor injuries.

There are slight traffic delays in the area that are expected to improve shortly.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
