Show your Pride Calgary! Join CityNews 660 and let’s celebrate gender and sexual diversity with all the amazing Pride festival events happening in our city for Calgary Pride!

Calgary Pride presents the return to in-person programming for the 2022 pride season! The Calgary Pride Parade and Festival, presented by TD, is an annual event where thousands gather to celebrate the diversity of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. A variety of events will run throughout August, concluding with the Calgary Pride Parade & Festival on Sunday, September 4th.

CALGARY PRIDE KICKOFF
Join us for the Calgary Pride Kickoff at Central Memorial Park on Saturday, August 27! This free and accessible event starts at 12PM and will feature family-friendly performances and music, local vendors, and food trucks. At 7:30PM we will be screening ‘Kiki’ in the park, we encourage folks to bring their own chairs, blankets, snacks, and drinks for the screening.

CALGARY PRIDE PARADE
The parade will begin at 11am on Sunday, September 4th and is held in the Beltline district along 9th Ave. It will start on 5th St SW and conclude in East Village. We look forward to seeing thousands of folks celebrating the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Calgary’s streets!

CALGARY PRIDE FESTIVAL

Immediately following the parade on September 4, join us at the new festival venue – Fort Calgary! The Festival will kick-off at 12:00PM on Sunday, September 4 and will feature a variety of thrilling performances, food truck vendors, kid-friendly activities, a vendor marketplace, and a beer garden – all along the beautiful Makhabn (Bow River)
