Stampede midway job openings

The company that operates the rides and concessions at The Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth needs to fill dozens of job postings.
Amber Swedgan with North American Midway Entertainment tells 660News they need to find people to work the concession stands, take tickets and greet people who are in line waiting to get on a ride.
Swedgan says about 20 per cent of their 650 strong workforce is hired locally.
She says some of the people who join them here in Calgary will also end up working at upcoming shows in Edmonton and Red Deer.
Those interested in the so called Carney life can apply at the ” People Centre” at the south end of Stampede Park near the Indian Village.
The unofficial start to Stampede 2010 is Thursday night, when the gates of the park are open for sneak a peek.
On Friday as many as 300 thousand people are expected to pack the core for the annual parade.
