Lake Erie drowning victim to be remembered

A Calgary woman who drowned in Lake Erie will be remembered Friday.
Cynthia Riediger died late last month while trying to rescue a friend in the Ontario lake.
Her memorial is set for tomorrow from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Calgary Winter Club.
Riediger was a well-known geologist working for Shell.
According to the Calgary Herald, donations made in her memory will go to a graduate scholarship in geosciences at the University of Calgary.
