Deer Run fire destroys two homes

A two-alarm fire has gutted two units and damaged a third at a triplex in southeast Calgary.
The blaze broke out on Deerview Way in Deer Run, forcing several people to flee the flames.
Battalion Chief Ernie Molineaux says everyone got out safely.
Molineaux says crews are still mopping up and it could be a day or two before a cause is pinpointed.
The damage estimate could top $800,000.
