Campaign signs are disappearing

Campaign signs are disappearing in the Calgary Centre riding.

The Liberals, the Greens and the Conservatives have had signs moved or vandalized.

According to the Liberals, the Green Party is accusing them of moving their signs as a strategy.

She says someone is either trying to get attention or attempting to divide parties.

Liberal candidate Jennifer Polluck feels the moving of signs is a strategic move.

University of Calgary Political Scientist Lori Williams tells 660News “The benefit of moving a sign is very low. The cost of actually being caught doing it is very high,  so I would say it’s unlikely that parties are orchestrating this sort of thing.”

Liberal Calgary East candidate Josipa Petrunic had around 160 signs vandalized a couple of weeks ago.
