Fire bans remain in place for 35 provincial parks and recreational areas.
Camille Weleschuk with Alberta Tourism says that bans have been put in place because of the extreme fire hazard in the northern area of the province.
The bans include all wood, briquette, propane and natural gas fires.
Gas and propane stoves and barbeques are allowed.
Weleschuk tells 660News that the bans will be in place until conditions become wetter up north.
