Old south YMCA building is for rent

The city is trying to find someone who wants to rent out the old YMCA building in Haysboro after the organization left the site last year.
It’s got a swimming pool and has a great location by the Heritage LRT station, but the building is 48-years old and needs millions of dollars in repairs.
The building is owned by the city and a council committee has decided to give officials a year to find a short-term renter.
Their long-term plan is to turn it into a transit-related development.
