Alberta’s Ed Stelmach will be pushing improved trade with Asia as a three-day meeting of Canada’s premiers and territorial leaders gets underway in Vancouver Wednesday.
He’s getting support from B.C.’s Christy Clark, who says building better economic ties with the likes of China and India is “the future.”
Healthcare will also be high on the agenda.
Ontario’s Dalton McGuinty is pushing for a new National Accord with Ottawa, with secure funding.
