Several dead after highway crash

A fiery crash between a fuel tanker truck and two vehicles has killed several people on Highway 93 near Kootenay National Park.

RCMP CPL. Dan Moskaluk says the deadly crash happened just after 3 p.m. Friday.

He says the driver of the fuel truck was the only one to survive.

Police have not yet determined the identities of the people who were killed or how many have died.

Highway 93 will be closed for an indefinite period of time.
