Prostate Cancer Centre sets Guinness World Record

Hundreds of Calgary men made their way to the Prostate Cancer Centre Wednesday to help set a Guinness World Record.
The centre offered free prostate cancer screening blood tests.
A number of local dignitaries including Flames and Stampeders alumni took part.
Spokesperson Linda MacNaughton tells 660News, the event was held as part of Prostate Cancer Awareness Week and the response was overwhelming.
The record was officially set once the 250th man completed his screening at 12:10 p.m. – the minimum standard set by Guinness.
A grand total of 989 men had taken part once the doors closed at 6 p.m.
