Occupy Canada protests continue

Hundreds of people turned out for “Occupy” protests against corporate greed in several cities on the Prairies.
Hundreds gathered in Edmonton in Churchill Square, and in Calgary on Stephen Avenue.
In Winnipeg, several hundred also gathered on the corner of Portage and Front streets in front of the T-D Bank.
Those who spent the chilly drizzly night in Toronto’s St. James Park say Sunday will be spent making decisions about a demonstration planned for when the financial district comes to life tomorrow.
Protesters say they plan to make a splash when the Toronto Stock Exchange opens Monday.
Meanwhile, across the globe, the mayor of Rome says it could cost more than one million dollars to recover from the damage done by rioters during Occupy protests Saturday over the global financial crisis.
A group that broke away from a peaceful protest smashed windows, tore up sidewalks and torched vehicles.
