Greening up Canadian energy

Calgary is gearing up to host its first ever Global Clean Energy Congress and Exhibition.
More than 3,000 people from over 20 countries are expected to converge on Stampede Park November 1-3 to explore green energy options including wind, solar and nuclear.
Paula Arnold with DMG Events, the company putting on the show, tells 660News the gathering is bringing together clean energy experts form around the globe.
The show will also feature an innovative playground and an area where green energy deals can be brokered between companies and investors.
Alberta’s Energy Minister Ted Morton is among the keynote speakers, which also include Jeremy Rifkin, the President of the Foundation of Economic Trends, and Elyse Allan, CEO of GE Canada.
