David Milgaard faces assault charge in court

David Milgaard is in court Thursday to face an assault with a weapon charge following a domestic dispute call from his southwest Calgary home.

Milgaard was arrested last Wednesday morning following an alleged fight with his wife.

He’s also accused of uttering threats.

Milgaard is known for spending 23 years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit before being released in 1992.
