The clocks fall back this weekend

Daylight Saving Time comes to an end this weekend; we turn the clocks back one hour early Sunday morning.

A recent Angus Reid poll shows nearly a quarter of Albertans surveyed would use that time to get some extra sleep, while others would catch up on house work, or spend time with family and friends.

Only a handful would devote the extra time to work or community service.

When 660News asked early-morning commuters on Thursday what they would be doing with the extra hour, some said they’d be doing housework, while others said sleeping in.

One man said he could use the extra hour to get some work done.

“It’s the busy season right now, so there’s a lot of overtime,” he said.
