It’s time to dust off the winter driving skills.
The AMA’s Don Szarko says you can’t predict where and when storms are going to hit.
“You might start off in Calgary and you’re heading to Fort McMurray, and it might be beautiful in Calgary, and by the time you hit Red Deer… you’re in the middle of a blizzard,” he says.
He says the key to avoiding a costly winter smash-up is slowing down, and leaving lots of room to stop.
