Search on for missing snowmobiler after avalanche in northern B.C.

The search for a missing snowmobiler in northern B.C. starts at first light Monday morning after a weekend avalanche.

The man and a friend were in the Torpy Mountain recreation area near Prince George Sunday when they were buried by the sliding snow.

One man escaped, while the other remains trapped.

Emergency crews couldn’t start looking Sunday due to distance, weather, dwindling daylight and snow conditions.
